Through Yayasan Hasanah, a recognized foundation supported by one of Malaysia’s largest conglomerates, Malaysian Traditional Handicraft masters visited the Traditional Handicrafts Program of the Department of Handicrafts at Kayseri University Mustafa Çıkrıkçıoğlu Vocational School today.,
During the event, which brought together guest artists specializing in batik, fabric weaving, tapestry weaving, embroidery, and fashion design, our program introduced and demonstrated traditional Turkish weaving techniques such as kilim, carpet weaving, zili, sumak, cicim, and the Turkmen knot. Throughout the visit, traditional Turkish coffee and tea were served to our guests.
This meaningful visit provided an important opportunity for cultural exchange and mutual sharing of traditional handicraft practices between the two countries.
