History
The vocational school was established in 1997-1998 academic year with the Carpet Weaving Program. In the 1998-1999 academic year, Textile, Dye Technology, Computer Aided Design programs were opened in addition to the existing Carpet and Rug Program and moved to Kocasinan Vocational School building in Sümer Campus. In the 2002-2003 academic year, evening education started with the the textile program. The vocational school moved to Mustafa Çıkrıkçıoğlu Vocational School, which was built on the Erciyes University Campus by the philanthropic businessman Mustafa Çıkrıkçıoğlu in the spring term of 2006-2007. The Natural Gas Heating and Plumbing Technology program, which was opened in the 2007-2008 academic year and then continued its educational activities under the name of Gas and Installation Technology program, was opened and its evening education started a year later.
Starting from the 2009 - 2010 academic year, evening education programs were opened in Graphics, Handicrafts and Chemistry technology programs. Alternative Energy Resources Technology program has started its activities since the fall academic year of 2011-2012. Occupational Health and Safety program has been transferred from Develi Hüseyin Şahin Vocational School to Mustafa Çıkrıkçıoğlu Vocational School since the 2014-2015 academic year. In addition, as of the 2015-2016 academic year, the Printing and Publishing Technologies program has been opened under the Audio-Visual Techniques and Media Production Department and continues its educational activities. Our Vocational School was opened under the name of Kocasinan Vocational School in 1997 within Erciyes University, and in 2006 it was changed to Mustafa Çıkrıkçıoğlu Vocational School.
It has 7 sections and 9 programs. The aim of the program are to train qualified personnel (technicians), which is needed by our country's industry, especially in Kayseri.
Since June 2020, it has been carrying out its activities on the 15 Temmuz campus of Kayseri University.
Education • The education period of our associate degree programs is 4 semesters. Students who do not register without a valid excuse cannot take courses that semester and cannot benefit from student rights.
Internship: There is an obligation to do an internship. • It is compulsory to do an internship for 60 working days, 30 working days each in the 1st and 2nd classes. Even if they are successful in all their courses, students who do not have internships cannot graduate.

Laboratory Technology Program was opened in 2019 and continues to provide education as daytime education. As of June 2020, the vocational school continues to carry out its activities on the 15 Temmuz Campus.
